This running group has been created to provide an opportunity for patients who require initial support with exercise and to walk/run together in a friendly and supportive environment.
We aim to bring people together, to give the support and skills to go forward and self-manage your own regime.
- All participants should consider the group as an informal gathering of people who will walk/run together in a loosely structured format.
- The group is managed by the health and wellbeing coach who cannot accept any responsibility or liability for incidents that occur during the exercise activities.
- Each attendee must accept full and complete liability for their actions.
- It is the responsibility of each attendee to decide whether they are fit and able to participate.
- It is your responsibility to notify the HWBC of any medical conditions that could affect you.
- If you feel faint, dizzy or unwell during the session, it is your responsibility to stop.
- The HWBC has the right to refuse any patient for attending the session.
- If you stop mid-session please notify the HWBC before leaving the session.
- Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn for the exercise and weather/lighting conditions. Reflective clothing is recommended.
- The HWBC reserves the right to cancel any sessions if they feel the weather condition is not suitable.
- Minimum age is 18 years old
- Dogs are not permitted to attend the sessions
